- Irrigation Sidekick -
Operate your smart controllers with voice commands.
The Irrigation Sidekick app allows you to turn stations ON and OFF with simple voice commands when using certain smart controllers*.
Imagine you are by yourself doing a broken pipe repair on station 5 where you need to get down and dirty to fix it. At some point you need to run the station for a few seconds to flush out the dirt, and your hands are full of mud. Nobody is there to help!
Before starting the repair, open the Sidekick app, select the customer's controller (it will be at the top of your list because the Sidekick knows where you are), turn you screen off, and put the phone in one of your pockets or somewhere near you.
Now, simply say "Station 5 ON" . The Sidekick will turn it on, then say "Station 5 STOP" when ready to turn it off.
You can also use the built-in remote control screen to operate the controller.
*Currently works with Rachio and Hydrawyse controllers only.
